My favorite teacher this year is Ms. Tanaka, my Japanese teacher. She comes from Japan, and she's been teaching at our school for two years. She's not only a great teacher but also a very kind and patient person.
Ms. Tanaka is always smiling. Her smile is warm and makes everyone feel comfortable. She teaches us not only the Japanese language but also Japanese culture. We learn about Japanese food, festivals, and traditions. For example, she taught us how to make origami, which is the art of paper folding. It was so much fun!
In class, Ms. Tanaka uses a lot of different methods to help us learn. She uses songs, games, and even short videos to make the lessons interesting. She also encourages us to speak Japanese as much as possible, even if we make mistakes. She says that making mistakes is part of learning.
Ms. Tanaka is very helpful. If we have any questions, she always takes the time to explain things clearly. She also gives us extra help after school if we need it. She really cares about her students and wants us to succeed.
I really enjoy learning Japanese with Ms. Tanaka. She makes learning fun and exciting. I hope she stays at our school for many years to come. She's not just a teacher; she's also a friend. I am very grateful to have her as my teacher.
